So many festivals at this time. So many evenings at the sink to wash dirty dishes with cream and chocolate-flavored Coca-Cola glasses, bowls of crisps mindful eating voraciously. Many games
modified and repeated, so many fresh young faces played on butterflies and impatient, many songs sung in front of variable amounts of flickering lights.
The numerous parties organized at this time require me somewhat at first, partial and superficial budget than done:
- is proving hard work of environmental awareness, not so much about children as .. on adults! And I must say that if a friend had expected, I will be surprised. More than a mother, for instance, complained about the impossibility of changing the glass to drink water after the Coca-Cola, for one thing only. And do not begin to take more drinks than necessary because their mothers can change 4 in two hours, I am convinced that only by doing "hard work" can be explained indirectly that taking care of the environment is challenging but necessary. Clearly it is neither easy nor natural to worry about the planet, especially if it means to unlearn all the comforts that we have made our own, at least for a while '. I do not see why I should sell this approach different from what it is, namely a less "comfortable" but more responsible - in my opinion of course - to bring entertainment, fun and, in general, education in civil life. - I am happy to rediscover that even children can have fun with a little imagination and work, immersing himself in the worlds that each time I try to build them with bottle caps, Bussolotti of kinder eggs, scraps of cloth.
- In Milan, you work so much! I thought that I would have much more to create me elbowing a "revolution" that would give meaning to this commitment, but in reality are just a little 'distribution of leaflets, links and collaborations with institutions just e.. voila: every weekend immediately engaged in parties and small parties even in the most unexpected recesses of the city.

I'm sorry that so many commitments during this period prevent me to update the blog with the diligence that I would, but you know that I still read often, I follow you e.. I hope that you will pass by here every now and again!

I closed the festival with my bingo party, of which maybe I'll post some pictures. My mom is very active in the parish of Our Neighbourhood participate in the harvest as a reader, runs after-school activities, is secretary once a week .. and so on. Also I have proposed over the years and participated in initiatives and activities, and sometimes it just falling back (!). After Mass in the morning were the stands of open play, organized in the name of recycling:

- in the third (mine) had to commit to fish at least three of the fake fish floating in a clear pools, so you can win .. a real fish! It had been years that the goldfish is not peeking in my oratory. When I was small, however, were a must. I've got so many losers, and many remember names and vicissitudes. My brother won two now fins and gills are your favorite friends! (In the picture below the note that we handed to children to enable them to keep playing and come and pick the fish before returning home).

I realized the fish to be fished with rigid plastic used in the copy center to cover the records and notes. When - a few months ago - I finished university I have kept aside several sheets, hoping to be able to find a second use also decent. I hope I've made it!

The last post has led to an unexpected series of comments, compliments, questions, suggestions .. how nice! That's what I like most about blogs: the chance to see their words enriched by the contributions - always intelligent, positive, selfless - all, as well as see appreciate their ideas, their proposals, their creative sketches. But

said .. That famous
note distributed among friends and relatives are, as mentioned, a real success: the cabinets that I saved from the dust of the floor were invaded by boxes of bottle caps, cores of rolls of toilet paper, jars of baby food .. but also of what I made with this material! Let's start with
videocassette tapes routes.
I still have a VCR, so the boxes are not yet out of my life: I look at it often, because the passion for film has allowed me - over the years - to earn a lot.
But some have succumbed to wear and time, becoming unusable. So what to do with those black stripes so shiny and beautiful? I Have made some pompoms (identical to those reserved to aspiring princesses pink) to be used to go wild during the holiday of witches and ghosts. The yield was remarkable: three videos I managed to make 20 pairs of pom-poms.

I jars of baby food, I like to die are children too, with that round and Paciocco. A friend has a baby a year and a half and it consumes at least twice a day .. guaranteed delivery! Currently the jars recovered were washed, deprived of the strip of paper wrapped and boxed them: what I want to do is paint the lid of a beautiful bright color, stuck on a little surprise of kinder eggs and fill them with candy. Maybe I could also add a ribbon and a card, but I have to study well.

With these aims and this serenity I have created and distributed among a few friends a little reminder to stick to the fridge, along with a magnet do-it-yourself to render ineffective any alibi ..

I needed it to recover over the summer as many caps, plastic and cork, bottom of plastic bottles, CDs are no longer usable, Bussolotti and jars of baby food as possible. I request the widespread even among people not particularly sensitive to recycling newspaper or creative, but my appeal has collected accessions also superior to the most optimistic expectations!
More than one person calls me when something has invited me home to pick up everything, then I say they have in turn shared the lead with colleagues and acquaintances, they all immediately stuck my package at home so you can keep an eye (I verified!).
I believe that this small success proves that good habits is enough to trigger from the simplest gestures and make them "nice" in my case I think they have acted as a stimulus for the fact of knowing who would have had to make the effort (a friend ) and for what purpose (to contribute to my nascent business).
These few lines to share an awareness that gives me hope: you really can strive together for a healthier world and spread this imperative!

I think we have just concluded one of the best summers of my life. The field of Vicenza with University Constructors was a wonderful experience: the physical work, the house every day more and more ready acceptance of which will become the promoter of the people to know which floor plan stories, experiences and dreams, the beauty of feeling useful and rediscover itself through the eyes of the curious of the other, the goodness of sipped a beer in the dark of night and with the right company .. truly a perfect week, to be repeated.

Finally, after a week in the desert Milan (one of the rare moments when I appreciate my home town), I'm back with the backpacker to Prague .. a city ME-RA-VI-SA-tion! A swarm of people, languages, breathtaking views, to cross bridges, towers to climb, clocks to record the strokes, exhibits, wildlife .. everything you want in your house enlarged.

Theme Parties - How real princesses! Ikea

I make a premise: not my favorite theme, but that's what I was asked more often, so ..
Here the party of princesses !

This is a party quite easy but highly effective. We start by
decorations: pink flags can be perfect - manufactured or purchased, but not disposable (even those you can safely recycle the packaging describes as disposable) - and pink balloons. In the dance school where I worked last year also added the tulle wrapped around the bars, but it was a "more" is not necessary.

This works great as a host. But then serve the games to fill the afternoon ..
Here are some ideas tested over the years:
1) How well do you know the princesses? An easy game to break the ice. Just a felt-tip pens and a poster to hang on the wall. It works like this: the girls must figure out which princess refer drawings dal'animatrice made from time to time (I always am inspired by Disney, but you can obviously range). Example: pumpkin, magic wand, Cinderella = mouse. I always think of three designs for each princess, but in fact he almost never need them all to arrive at a solution .. children are highly trained!
2) as Princess Jasmine. This is a variation of musical chairs and it works great with the girls aged 5 and up. The music starts and the girls have to move around the room, when the music stops .. must find a magic carpet on which to jump! Here, as in musical chairs, you have to remove a carpet at a time, until you reach the final challenge that will decide the winner princess.
3) Long live the princess! Here the girls can give vent to their passion for the color design a large banner that says just "Hurrah for the princess," which when completed will give the birthday girl.
4) The symbols of the princesses. This game I have in partly revealed in the post on Bussolotti .. but picks it up briefly for the sake of completeness (!). Each child is given a bag (I have made make me a lot 'of cloth from her grandmother .. which is now grappling with the carpets of Jasmine!). The animator duty spear, trying to spread as much as possible in the room, small cutouts in the shape of flower, heart, sword, crown, castle tower .. and maybe even the Bussolotti of kinder eggs to symbolize the most precious pearl necklaces princely. In the bingo numbers of the princesses have been replaced by drawings of all the Disney Princesses and their friends are not up to 90 symbols, but the variety is still good enough. For each child is given a card and bottle tops with which to mark the images from time to time out; wins to complete his first card. The fact that there are no prizes allowed me to repeat the game - virtually every time I proposed - two or even three times!

Here, it seems to me that these are the most successful ideas - including those experienced over the years - for the princesses, and who now form the backbone behind this festival.
It is very simple games (almost trivial, I realize), but I like them because they do not require much raw material "disposable" is not some bill and why not insist on the aspects that snob and glitter in the festivities of princesses often found and which I find inappropriate, morally harmful.
